1. Information We Collect

We collect information necessary to provide, manage, and secure Ganesh festival, mandal, and sangham websites. In our technical architecture, each registered organization is managed as an "association". This includes:

• Account Information: When you register as an organizer, we collect your email address and authentication credentials.
• Mandal / Association Profile Details: Information you submit about your organization, such as mandal or sangham name, custom handle (username/slug), description, tagline, founding year, temple or pandal address, city, state, contact phone number, public email, daily darshan/aarti timings, and social media links.
• Festival Website Content: Content uploaded by organizers to publish on their festival portal, including Ganesh Utsav pooja schedules, daily aarti timings, auspicious panchangam dates, committee member directories (names, roles, photos, contact numbers), and pandal photo galleries.
• Payment Verification Information: When an organizer requests an upgrade to Premium Templates (a one-time payment of ₹499), we collect transaction verification details including the UPI reference / UTR number, payment date and time, payer name (if provided), and payment screenshot (if uploaded).
• Technical and Security Data: Basic system logs required to operate and protect the service, such as IP addresses, browser types, and access timestamps.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information solely for the following purposes:

• To build, host, and display your mandal or sangham's public festival website.
• To authenticate organizers and maintain secure access to the management dashboard.
• To perform manual verification of UPI payments for premium template access requests.
• To monitor platform stability, troubleshoot technical issues, and safeguard against unauthorized access or abuse.
• To communicate with organizers regarding important service notices or account inquiries.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data. We utilize trusted cloud infrastructure providers to operate the ManaSangham platform:

• Supabase: Used for secure cloud database hosting, user authentication, and encrypted object storage for photos and logos.
• Vercel: Used for hosting, compute execution, and edge content delivery of the web application.

These providers process information strictly on our behalf to operate and deliver the platform under standard confidentiality and security commitments.

5. Security Measures

We maintain reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect information from unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration:

• All web traffic is transmitted via encrypted HTTPS (TLS).
• Database tables are protected with granular PostgreSQL Row Level Security (RLS) policies.
• Administrative and payment verification endpoints require verified server-side administrator credentials.

Please note that no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage system is completely invulnerable; therefore, absolute security cannot be guaranteed.

6. Sensitive Personal Data & User Responsibility

ManaSangham is intended for public Ganesh festival, mandal, and sangham website publishing. Organizers and users should not upload unnecessary sensitive personal information, including financial account passwords, Aadhaar/PAN cards, or private personal documents.

7. Data Retention & Account Management

We retain association content and account records for as long as your account is active or as necessary to provide services, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, and comply with applicable laws. If you wish to delete your association or account, you may submit a request using the contact details below.
